Ghanaian boxer Brimah Kamoko (29-0, 22 KO’s) popularly referred to as Bukom Banku, has reiterated his preparedness to stop Bastie Samir in the sixth round in their much anticipated ‘Make or Break’ bout.
Bastir Samir, born May 19, 1986, is a Ghanaian boxer who won silver in the welterweight division at the 2007 All African Games. He qualified for the Olympics 2008 in the light-heavyweight division.
He holds a record of 15 wins, 0 draws and 1 loss in his last 16 bouts. The power of his punch has earn him 14 Knock-Outs out of 15 wins.
The two will face off on October 21, 2017 at the Boxing Arena in a bout to be organized by Box Office Promotion.
According to him, he will discipline Samir in the ring. He made the comments when organizers of the bout, paid a courtesy call on the Mayor of Accra, Hon. Nii Adjei Sowah.
The entertainer cum boxer said, he failed to face off Samir when he challenged in the past because he was not ready but he is more than ready to defeat him on 21 October.
He has also challenged Samir to agree to a winner takes all if he believes he can defeat him (Banku).
“I will defeat you in the ring and people will ask if you have been tied…If you think you can fight me, let just agree to a winner takes all.’’ he said.
On his part, Samir said although he respects Banku as an undefeated boxer, he will teach him a bitter lesson of his life in the ring on the day of the bout.
