A Political Science lecturer at the University of Education, Winneba, Dr. Isaac Brako, has expressed satisfaction in the President Akufo Addo’s encounter with the press held at the Flag Staff House.

A little over 7 months into his administration, President Nana Akufo-Addo on Tuesday July 18 took his time to host some of the country’s seasoned journalists in what has now become a norm for Presidents of the land and questions were however raised as to the timing of the event and whether or not there was much to talk about after only 6 months of governance but some people insisted there was more than enough to speak about tagging the encounter “Six months of results”.

In an exclusive interview with Metro News, Dr. Isaac Brako a political science lecturer at the University of Education Winneba said, the President’s introductory message on accountability and transparency highlighted in his 180 days achievement are the key factors in governance and was full of praise for the president’s readiness to fight galamsey.

Meanwhile the General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia was disappointed in the media’s inability to ask relevant questions.
