Nana Kwani Kwamfo II, chief of Appiayaase in the Ejisu-Juabeng Municipality in the Ashanti Region, has urged parents to support government’s Free SHS policy by providing their wards basic needs.
He said the President, Nana Akufo Addo, should not be allowed to carry all the burdens after he had taking such a step to ensure every Ghanaian child have access to secondary education.
Nana Kwani Kamfo II, made this pronouncement when donated books, pens and mathematical instruments to all Junior High School students who are in JHS 1 in the Juabeng Traditional area.
In an exclusive interview with Metro News’ Rev. Alexander Afrifa, he explained that his kind gesture was “in line with Otumfuor Osei Tutu II’s Educational vision”.
He however applauded President Akufo Addo for implementing the flagship programme to ease the financial burden on parents
