The Ghana Football Association (GFA) have made Ghanaian-born German Collins Quarner youngster a major target as they make plans to work on his nationality switch.
Quarner, who stands at 6’3ft could be a surprising addition to James Kwesi Appiah’s set-up in their bid to earn good results in the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Collins Quarner played for Germany at the U-20 level level, but he has announced his readiness to feature for the Black Stars of Ghana.
According to SportsObama a source in the FA hinted them that the association wanted him to be available for last month’s friendlies against Mexico and the USA, but delays with his FIFA switch hindered the move.
The 26-year-old striker for new English Premier League side Huddersfield Town has registered 26 career goals in 159 games and scored three goals for his side to help them book a place back to the topflight league.
