Journalist hints of ‘Journey to the Ghetto’ project after winning RTP Award

Popular radio presenter with FZC Broadcasting Limited [Classic FM] in Techiman, Oheneni Ama Korankye, better known as Adazoa has hinted of a new project after winning this year’s Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Award for Brong Ahafo Region.

The project is aimed at ‘giving a new living to the youth in ghettos to become useful to the society’.

According to the popular broadcaster, she is using the opportunity provided her to ‘invite churches, organizations, institutions as well as individuals to come partner with her to provide hope for the hopeless.

The multiple award winning broadcaster posted a picture of herself and some ghetto boys on her Facebook timeline when she visited them in their unknown hideout in Techiman.

Her fans has however wished her the best of success in her new project.

Adazoa recently beat Augustus Annan Sly and DJ Bright of Ark FM, Dickson Smith DK – Space FM, King Nicholas – Dinpa FM and Kwame Adjei Boahen of Voice Radio to lift the RTP Award for the BA category.

The queen of news has also won Foklex Media Awards for the Regional Best News Caster category on several occasions.
