Mubarak Wakaso completes switch to Spanish Liga side Deportivo Alaves in a reported three-year deal
The Ghanaian midfielder has signed a three-year deal with Alaves after passing his medical examination.
After terminating his contract Greek Panathinaikos last Friday, he agreed in principle to sign for three seasons with the set albiazul and he has put pen to paper to confirm it on Monday.
Mubarak Wakaso is the eighth signing of Deportivo Alavés.
It is a 26-year-old player knows the Spanish League from Espanyol, Las Palmas and Granada, so he expected to adapt well.
Wakaso had on the table two offers from Turkey, another from Russia, Maccabi from Tel Aviv and Getafe, but he chose Alaves, even though he offered him less money. The Alavés does not pay a transfer fee because he cancelled his contract with Panathinaikos.
Wakaso is a player for the midfield, especially in the pivot position thanks to his physical ability. As a youth, he landed in the Elche quarry until he was expelled from the club for his behaviour.
