Some students of Kumasi Academy Senior High School (KUMACA) is calling on Ministry of Education to as matter of urgency close down the school for further investigation into the recent “Deaths” of their colleagues.

According to the students it seems management of the school are hiding the truth about the cause of the deaths which has killed some students leaving the rest in fear though they’ve tried to severally to ascertain the cause of the deaths but to no avail, therefore, calling on Ministry of Education and Ghana Education Service to initiate measures to find out the main cause.

We are afraid and don’t know what to do next, either to stay at home till the problem is solved or quit the school for another because their lives are in danger, today is my brother and can’t tell if the next day could be me, the students told Metro 94.1Fm reporter Ronald Kyeremateng at a final funeral rites of one of their colleague at Ejisu Krapa who mysteriously died a couple of days ago.

The students, however, said they are in shock why authorities of the school have failed to tell them the truth about the deaths which have killed many students in less than four (4) months the sad incident broke up but as it is said but “late than never” authorities can engage them to tell them the whole truth the cause of the deaths other than that the Ministry of Education (MoE) and Ministry of Health (MoH) should make it a priority to investigate the matter before it gets out of hand.
