Powerlifting – Narh Teye qaulfies for 2018 Commonwealth Games

Ghana’s Narh Teye succeeded in lifting 158kg in the 80kg class division at the Mexico World Para Powerlifting World Cup to place 14th.

There were 25 participants overall and Narh who also competed at the London 2012 Olympics and that in Rio de Janeiro last year is one of the candidates the country is counting on at next year’s competitions.

The qualification weight for the 80kg class at Gold Coast 2018, is 140kg but Narh did even better to make it to Gold Coast 2018.
